The Brinno PHV1330 digital peephole door viewer features a built in LCD screen that gives you the ability to check who is outside your front door without them ever knowing they are being observed. If your front door already has a door viewer installed, replacing it with this model is a simple matter of swapping out one unit for the other and making a few minor adjustments.

The traditional peepholes that we are all used to, produce images that are prone to fish eye distortion, do not work well in low-light conditions, and severely limited as far as their viewing angle. However, with this new upgrade from Brinno, you get a high-quality wide-angle image that actually permits you to identify your visitor at a glance.
You need only push a single button to see a generous sized image of the person outside your door, and for those of us with less than perfect eyesight, a second press of the button provides a zoomed image, which enlarges the center of the image for viewing facial details. Repeated presses toggle between routine and zoom modes.
The unit also turns off automatically after 10 seconds to preserve battery life, and comes with a low battery indicator light that flashes when they need to be replaced. I’m happy with the Brinno PHV1330, and would definitely buy it again. It is well worth the higher cost, especially when you consider its ease of installation, many features and performance. Overall a nice security upgrade for the home.
