An armed man tried to force his way into a Studio City house through a rear window at about 6:30 a.m. on October 27, triggering a police response that brought officers with guns drawn, a K9 team and a helicopter to a quiet residential block near Laurel Canyon Road.
The suspect was considered armed and dangerous and may have slipped out through a backyard gate before officers arrived, and as of the latest update, no arrest had been made.
