Rockford woman sentenced in Rochelle home invasion

OREGON, Ill. (WIFR) – A Rockford woman learns how long she will be behind bars for home invasion.

Linsey Blitch, 39, is sentenced to 9 years in prison after pleading guilty to home invasion.

On Feb. 21, 2025, Blitch and Mark Cooper, 49, entered the home of a Rochelle couple and beat them.

The female victim said Blitch attacked her, suffering from upper-body soreness as a result.

The male victim reported being beaten by Cooper and had head lacerations from the altercation.

Cooper was sentenced to 58 years in prison for home invasion, armed robbery and armed habitual criminal in October…
