Authorities arrested and charged an eighth man in relation to a Winnetka home invasion in March, according to an announcement on Wednesday from U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Northern District of Illinois.
According to the attorney’s office, Andrew Franklin, 19, of Chicago, was one of five armed men who entered the home in the 700 block of Rosewood Avenue on March 8 and held a resident and a child hostage. He reportedly was arrested on June 3 and subsequently charged with kidnapping and robbery.
