The Boxer is a moderate-sized, short haired breed of dog, developed in Germany. Boxers are brachycephalic (they’ve wide, short skulls), have a square muzzle, mandibular prognathism (an underbite), quite strong jaws, and a powerful bite perfect for hanging on to big quarry.
The Boxer was bred from the extinct Bullenbeisser and the Old English Bulldog which became extinct by crossbreeding as opposed to by a decadence of the strain. The intention behind the crossbreeding was the requirement of creating thousands of dogs for among the most famous breeds on earth, and the want to remove the excessive white colour of the strain. This group is a kind of solidly built, big dog breeds that all descend from the exact same common ancestor, the big shepherd dog called a Molossus. The Boxer is an associate of the Working Group.
