Thank you for the informative article on Biolock. I would like to add that the weather and cold issues can sometimes be avoided simply by installing a storm door, a very good idea for energy effeciency in your home anyway. In contrast to Biolock, Bioaxxis an American fingerprint door lock manufacturer has an excellent alternative to Biolocks 333. the Bioaxxis BD1 is a dead bolt fingerprint door lock that is absolutely weather proof. I have installed one for my home (in Chicago) and have never had a problem with it. The Bioaxxis BD1 installed in about 15 minutes holds 30 fingerprints and is very user friendly. This brings the number of registered users down to 15 if they register one print per hand, but seriously, who wants more that 15 people to have access to their home anyway.
To avoid any trouble with manufacturrers...
Please take my advise...Buy a bioaxxis
Did I mention the 2 year warrantee?
That's Bioaxxis BD1

Apart from the security, it's also great to be free from worrying over keys! We all know how stressful it is to constantly check our bags and pockets for keys, and get confused over the different ones we use.
